Origin: Speyside, Scotland – a region renowned for its smooth, fruity and balanced single malt whiskies.
The water for the distillation comes from the mountain springs of Benn Rinnes, providing a clean and mineral character.
Production and ageing
• Distilled in traditional copper pot stills.
• Initial ageing in bourbon barrels (American oak).
• Final aging in Fino Sherry casks – dry, fine and elegant sherry casks, which add minerality, light nutty accents and a dry fruit profile.
• Undiluted for mass production – bottled at 48% alc., without chill filtration and without coloring for maximum authentic character.
Organoleptic characteristics
Aroma:
Green apple, lemon peel, vanilla, almonds, white flowers, light mineral accents. Delicate notes of dry sherry.
Taste:
Medium-bodied, dried fruits, roasted nuts, white peach, vanilla, honey, slightly salty and mineral nuance. The finish is dry, long and elegant.
