The distillery uses pure mountain water from the Benn Rinnes springs, contributing to a smooth and clean style.
Production and Aging
• Distilled in traditional copper pot stills.
• Mainly aged in American oak bourbon barrels.
• Final aging in Amontillado Sherry casks – barrels that give notes of roasted nuts, dried fruits, spices and the characteristic dry, nutty profile of this sherry.
• Bottled at 48% alc., without chill filtration and without added colorings – for maximum authenticity.
Organoleptic characteristics
Aroma:
Roasted hazelnuts and walnuts, dried apricots, caramel, vanilla, spices (nutmeg), light woodiness and dry sherry accent.
Taste:
Density and depth, dried fruits, roasted nuts, honey, caramelized orange peel, fine spices. The finish is long, dry and slightly buttery, with elegant sherry and nutty nuances.
