Once upon a time, several precious bottles were hidden in a small cellar for over 80 years. As luck would have it, they discovered and became inspired for a champagne in tribute to the Golden Age, which they call "Un jour de 1911".
Andre Clouet Un Jour de 1911 Grand Cru is a prestigious champagne produced by the Clouet family, who have been producing wines in the heart of the Champagne region - in the town of Bouzy since 1741. This particular cuvee is known for its remarkable quality and represents the essence of their winemaking expertise . It is aged between 120 and 150 months on the lees and has very little production.
Andre Clouet Un Jour de 1911 is made using a blend of carefully selected Pinot Noir grapes, the dominant grape variety in the Champagne region. These grapes are sourced from the family's own Grand Cru vineyards, which ensures a high level of control over the quality and character of the wine.
