Description

Armut brandy is produced from hand-picked wild pears from the Isperih region.

These rare trees over 50 years old are found in certain places, called by the locals "armutluk", and their fruits are also known as "armuti".

Quantities are extremely limited and in a good year they can be used to age up to 2 barrels of brandy. The brandy is slowly distilled in our small copper casks and matures for more than 24 months in 260 liter Strandzha oak barrels.

Organoleptic characteristics

It has a very rare unforgettable aroma of local nature - a skillful combination of light vanilla with pleasant fruitiness and earthy, mineral notes. The pear note pops into the background unobtrusively and very pleasantly, to continue its development into a very rare harmonious fruit taste, complemented by a slight spiciness. The finish is long and intriguing.

It is recommended to consume in small tulip-shaped glasses.

Your order will be delivered via courier.
With our own transport in Sofia, we deliver to the front door of the specified block or house address. We do not enter the building due to security reasons.

For orders over 76.69 € / BGN 150, delivery is free of charge.

Deliveries are made only to addresses within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

You can also pick up the ordered products on site from our address: Sofia, Hladilnika district, 13 Filip Kutev Street (see on map).

Delivery time is usually up to five days, and the delivery cost depends on the shipment's weight based on the courier company's rates. Delivery times may vary depending on our agreement with the courier and their schedule, as well as during holiday periods.

For customer convenience, orders placed by 3:30 PM can be picked up on the same business day by 4:30 PM from the warehouse of “Meik-98” Ltd. (Sofia, 13 Filip Kutev Street).
