La Gioiosa – one of the most prestigious and innovative wineries in the Veneto region, Northern Italy. Located in the heart of the Valdobbiadene area, the winery is a symbol of tradition, quality and the joy of life – it is not by chance that it bears the name “La Gioiosa” (“The Joyful”).
Classification: Prosecco Superiore DOCG – the highest level of controlled designation of origin in Italy, guaranteeing the origin and quality of the wine.
Varietal composition: 100% Glera
Terroir: The hilly slopes of Valdobbiadene offer a perfect combination of sunshine, calcareous soils and a mild alpine-maritime climate. This creates conditions for exceptionally fresh and aromatic wines.
Vinification method: Charmat (Method Martinotti) – secondary fermentation in closed stainless steel vessels at a controlled temperature. This preserves the freshness, fruity character and fine bubbles of the wine.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Aroma: Intense and delicate nose with notes of white peach, pear, acacia blossom and citrus.
Taste: Extremely fresh and elegant, with fine bubbles and balanced sweetness, typical of the Extra Dry style. The finish is long, floral and pleasantly fruity-mineral.
Food pairing: Ideal as an aperitif. Goes great with seafood, sushi, salads with goat cheese, prosciutto and light appetizers. Also suitable for festive toasts and cocktails.
