Rilska Vodka is a high-class drink, hand-crafted according to a secret recipe with pine cones from Alpine squat. Rila is the highest mountain range in Bulgaria, the Balkan Peninsula and Southeast Europe. It is located in Southwestern Bulgaria and is part of the Rilo-Rhodope massif.We are located in the town of Samokov, known by its nickname Grado. An ancient artisan town nestled in the foothills of Rila Mountain, with breathtaking views and peaks. The area of ​​the city of Samokov is also known for many medicinal herbs. Since winters in the area are long and cold, local people have been drinking homemade alcohol and tinctures from various herbs since ancient times.The cones are hand-picked, in wooden baskets. The terrain is entirely alpine, difficult to access, which requires very heavy physical labor to pick and transport the raw material. The place of picking is at the foot of the highest and most beautiful peak of the Balkans, Mount Musala, as well as the peaks Trionite, Deno, Aleko, Yastrebec and Markudjik.Attention to every detail in the production, manual work and magical raw materials make RILSKA VODKA unique and unrepeatable. Since the squat is a protected tree species, each year we declare in advance what amount of cones we will collect, strictly complying with the regulations of the state, as well as paying the appropriate fees for the activity.For the production of RILSKA VODKA we use only the highest quality raw materials. Freshly picked cones are sorted and cleaned one by one before entering production. To make it, we also use high-quality, repeatedly distilled 100% grain spirit, demineralized water from Rila mountain and a lot of love.RILSKA VODKA requires a lot of manual labor and precise monitoring of the production process. The time required for making is one month, after which there is an aging period, which is a minimum of 3 months, in order to reach the perfection of our product. The frosted bottle, manual filling and packaging and the silicone stopper contribute to the high quality of RILSKA VODKA. Distilled to perfection and with attention to every detail, we have created a unique product with a perfect balance of classic taste with a slight aftertaste of alpine squat and mountain aroma.
