The most fruity and delicate expression of the house.
A. de Fussigny XO is a blend of distillates aged between 10 and 25 years, containing at least 50% of the Eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne, the rest from Petite, and is a wonderful example of the complexity that an XO cognac can achieve.
Organoleptic characteristics
Colour: golden amber with copper and mahogany nuances
Aroma: refined nose, fruity, floral and woody, at the same time with some dominant notes of candied citrus fruits and black cherry. Then the typical aromas of cellars and oak wood appear. Fine notes of candied fruits (orange, pear, plum and cherry) and melted caramel combine wonderfully with those of liquorice and oak. Finally, notes of black tea, tobacco and cigar box gently emerge.
Taste: Silky and denser structure, nice balance. Very close to its bouquet. Notes of black cherry and orange marmalade blend beautifully with vanilla and melted caramel, finally giving way to melted oak, toasted almonds and spices.
Finish: long with notes of spicy vanilla, melted caramel and leather.
Pairings: Will go great with any chocolate or caramelized dessert such as crème brûlée. It can be enjoyed neat or possibly with a drop of water for special occasions, as well as with any cigar.

===
A. De Fussigny Cognac was born on the banks of the Charente River and is housed in a historic distillery built in 1814, whose close proximity ensures exceptional humidity levels in the aging cellars, resulting in rounder and more supple Eaux-de-Vie.
* Eaux-de-Vie means "water of life" and is the French term for brandies made from fruits other than grapes. It is a bit confusing because the term is also used for young brandy that will become Cognac or Armagnac (which are made using only grapes) once the latter have reached the legal age to be described as such.
