Aging Type: Double Barrel – The Bourbon is first aged in regular new oak barrels, then transferred to a second barrel that is deeply toasted and lightly charred.

Rich dark fruit notes (e.g. dried fruit).
Caramel, honey, chocolate.
Marzipan and toasted oak.
Taste:
Full-bodied – vanilla, dark caramel.
Hazelnut, apple, fruity notes, spices.

Mash bill: The grain composition (wheat/corn/rye, etc.) of Woodford Reserve is: 72% corn, 18% rye, 10% malted barley.

Perfect for dessert flavors: Can be drunk as a “liquid dessert” because of the caramel, chocolate, hazelnuts.
