Pinot Noir de Purcari 1827 is one of the emblematic wines of Purcari – an elegant and refined style, which the producer associates with the nobility of the variety and the unique terroir of the Dniester Valley. It is distinguished by its delicacy, pure fruit and velvety structure.
Varietal composition: 100% Pinot Noir.
Region: Purcari, Moldova – a historic wine area with traditions since 1827.
Terroir: Clay-limestone soils, temperate continental climate and proximity to the Black Sea, which ensure a long growing season and natural freshness.
Vinification: Fermentation at controlled temperatures to preserve the aroma; partial aging in oak for additional structure and complexity, without dominating the variety.
Organoleptic: Light ruby color. Aromas of red cherry, raspberry, wild strawberry and light notes of vanilla and spices. The palate is elegant, with soft tannins, fresh acidity and a clean, long finish.
Food pairing: Chicken, duck, veal carpaccio, mushroom pasta, soft cheeses and lighter meat dishes.
Serving temperature: 14–16°C.
