Description

Pepoli is an emblematic Chianti Classico from the famous Tuscan winery Marchesi Antinori – a family with over 600 years of winemaking history. The Pepoli estate is located in the heart of the appellation, near Castellina in Chianti, and is known for its elegant yet fruity style.

Variety: Sangiovese

Terroir: The vineyards are located at about 400 m above sea level on calcareous-clay soils, rich in galestro – a typical rocky terroir for Chianti Classico. The microclimate is characterized by warm days and cool nights, helping to balance the ripening of Sangiovese.

Vinification: The grapes are vinified by plots in stainless steel tanks with delicate maceration. Aging is about 9 months – mainly in large French oak tanks and partly in barriques, which preserves the fruity character and adds finesse.

Organoleptic characteristics
Aroma: Bright and expressive nose with notes of red cherry, plum, dried herbs and delicate vanilla.
Taste: Fresh, juicy-fruity with elegant tannins, good depth and a balanced finish with a light mineral note.

Food pairing: Excellent with pasta with tomato sauce, lasagna, risotto with porcini mushrooms or Tuscan chicken.

Serving temperature: 16°–18°C
Aging potential: Up to 6 years

Your order will be delivered via courier.
With our own transport in Sofia, we deliver to the front door of the specified block or house address. We do not enter the building due to security reasons.

For orders over 76.69 € / BGN 150, delivery is free of charge.

Deliveries are made only to addresses within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

You can also pick up the ordered products on site from our address: Sofia, Hladilnika district, 13 Filip Kutev Street (see on map).

Delivery time is usually up to five days, and the delivery cost depends on the shipment's weight based on the courier company's rates. Delivery times may vary depending on our agreement with the courier and their schedule, as well as during holiday periods.
