Description

An impressive, powerful and concentrated terroir wine with enormous aging potential. It is recommended to age before opening.

The wine was created by Red Church oenologists Alex Kanev and Radoslav Marchev. The grapes are from the 12-year-old Red Church Vineyards vineyards in the Kamenki area near the town of Perushtitsa - the soils are clay-sandy-stony with well-pronounced limestone. The vineyards are on a terrain with an 8% slope and excellent soil drainage, the area in the Rhodope Neck has a clearly pronounced microclimate, with a healthy afternoon breeze.

The grapes were harvested from late September to mid-October 2019 for the different varieties - with hand harvesting and a careful subsequent process of manual selection of the grapes in several stages.

Fermentation continues for up to 30 days in stainless steel tanks with temperature control and manual piaget. It ages for 12 months in French barrels.

The wine is a continuation of the classics in the Old World traditions, with a focus on the care of the vineyards and their specificity, says Alex Kanev. The concept is to build the potential of the terroir, emphasizing it without compromise, like a true Sovereign.

With our own transport in Sofia, we deliver to the front door of the specified block or house address. We do not enter the building due to security reasons.

For orders over 76.69 € / BGN 150, delivery is free of charge. * Free delivery excludes all products from categories: Water, Beer, Bag-in-Box, Soft Drinks.

Deliveries are made only to addresses within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

You can also pick up the ordered products on site from our address: Sofia, Hladilnika district, 13 Filip Kutev Street (see on map).

Delivery time is usually up to five days, and the delivery cost depends on the shipment's weight based on the courier company's rates. Delivery times may vary depending on our agreement with the courier and their schedule, as well as during holiday periods.

We would like to inform you that, as of 01.10.2025, the working hours of Meik-98 Ltd. will be changed as follows:

Monday to Friday: 08:00 AM – 16:30 PM (delivery to address or on-site service).
Saturday and Sunday: closed.

Monday to Friday: same-day delivery orders will be accepted until 10:00 AM.
For customer convenience, orders placed by 3:30 PM can be picked up on the same business day by 4:30 PM from the warehouse of “Meik-98” Ltd. (Sofia, 13 Filip Kutev Street).
