Origin and designation:
Chianti DOCG, Tuscany, Italy – a classic area for the production of red wines with a controlled and guaranteed designation of origin. The wine bears the “Riserva” designation, which indicates a longer aging period and higher quality.
Varietal composition:
Predominantly Sangiovese, with a small percentage of complementary varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot), characteristic of the Piccini winery style.
Vinification and aging:
Fermentation at controlled temperature with prolonged maceration for maximum extraction of color and aromas.
Aged for a minimum of 24 months, partly in oak barrels, which gives additional depth, structure and complexity.
