Red wine Cabernet Franc Via Aristotelis 2020 is part of the selection of the boutique winery Orbelia, located at the foot of Belasitsa. It works exclusively with grapes from its own vineyards, focusing on the characteristic terroir of the village of Kolarovo and the local wine tradition.

Variety: Cabernet Franc

Terroir: The massifs are located at about 300 m above sea level, on southern slopes with sandy-clay soils and limestone inclusions. The region has a pronounced Mediterranean climate and constant mountain currents, providing good ventilation and slow ripening of the grapes.

Vinification: The harvest is hand-picked and undergoes double selection. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vessels at a controlled temperature, with prolonged maceration. This is followed by 12 months of aging in French oak barrels, which gives depth and noble structure to the wine.

Organoleptic characteristics
Aroma: Rich nose with notes of blackcurrant, black cherry and dried leaves, complemented by subtle accents of tobacco and spices.
Taste: Complex and well-structured, with fine, ripe tannins, fresh acidity and a long finish with nuances of cedar and dark chocolate.

Food pairing: Excellent with roast lamb, pork neck with rosemary or mushroom and truffle mash.
