Barolo Lecinquevigne is a prestigious red wine, the brainchild of Cantine Damilano (a winery with over a century of winemaking tradition) and demonstrates the unique terroir and meticulous craftsmanship that define the wines of the Barolo region (Piemont) - one of the most respected wine regions in Italy.
Variety: 100% Nebbiolo
The name "Lecinquevigne" translates as "the five vineyards", referring to the five individual vineyards from which the grapes are sourced to make it. These vineyards are located in prime "Barolo crus" in the Langhe region, where the combination of soil composition, altitude and microclimate give the grapes exceptional character and complexity.
The 2016 vintage is highly regarded for its ideal growing conditions, characterized by a warm, dry summer followed by a cool and sunny autumn, thanks to which the grapes were in excellent phenolic maturity and balanced acidity, which contributes to the depth and structure of the wine. ю
