Sauvignon Blanc with the Collio DOC appellation is the emblem of the Sauvignon Blanc variety of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region.
Terroir: The grapes are grown on terraces rich in marl and sandstone in San Floriano and Zegla, geographically close places but with different soil and climatic characteristics. In San Floriano, due to the greater exposure, the grapes give life to deeper and more structured wines, while the grapes from Zegla give wines with a pronounced aroma and finesse.
Vinification: Hand-picked at the beginning of September, and the partial cryomaceration of the grapes and the lack of contact with oxygen allow the unique aromas of this variety to be preserved until the bottle, combined with the elegance given by the light aging in a 25 hectoliter barrel.
