The Western Cape is a famous wine region in South Africa, located on the southwest coast of the country. The region is known for its high-quality wines, produced from a variety of local and international varieties. The wineries in this region combine traditional methods with modern technology to create wines that reflect the terroir of the area and its climatic features.
Variety: Sauvignon Blanc (100%)
Terroir: The vineyards are located in the Western Cape region, with soils that are mainly limestone and sandy, providing good drainage. The climate is temperate oceanic, with the influence of cold currents from the Atlantic Ocean, which creates perfect conditions for the slow ripening of Sauvignon Blanc and the preservation of its freshness and aroma.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo fermentation at a controlled temperature in steel tanks. The wine is not aged in oak barrels to preserve the purity and intensity of the fruit aromas of the variety.
