From the cool hills of Friuli DOC, Pinot Grigio Strato expresses the purity and elegance of Northern Italy. A fresh and refined white wine with a fine mineral character.
Strato means "layer" - a symbol of the layers of soil in which the vines take root and from which they draw their character.
Type: Dry white wine
Grape: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Terroir: Produced in Friuli DOC - a region with mineral-rich soils and cool alpine winds that create ideal conditions for fresh and expressive white wines, with elegance, depth and balance. The red clay-limestone soil, the sedimentary rocks, the richness of iron oxide and the uniqueness of the microclimate between Mediterranean and continental, characterized by significant temperature fluctuations, allow a slow and balanced ripening of the grapes, giving them minerality, flavor and strength.
Vinification: Short aging in stainless steel tanks on fine lees to preserve the fresh aromatic profile and pure fruity character of the variety.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Color: Light straw yellow with brilliant greenish reflections.
Aroma: Intense and fresh, with pronounced notes of citrus, green apple, lime and white grapes, complemented by nuances of elderberry, freshly cut grass and subtle tropical accents.
Taste: Fresh and elegant, with well-balanced acidity and pronounced minerality. The taste reveals notes of citrus, green apple and grapefruit, with a clean and refreshing finish.
Food pairing: Suitable for seafood, fish, salads, goat cheese, vegetable dishes and light pasta recipes. Excellent choice also as an aperitif.
Serving temperature: 8-10 °C.
