Description

Izba Maryan is a boutique winery located at the foot of the Stara Planina Mountains, near the town of Elena. It focuses on limited edition and terroir wines that reflect the local climate and character.

Variety: Chardonnay

Terroir: The vineyards are located in the area of the village of Maryan, at the foot of the Stara Planina Mountains. The altitude is about 450 m, the soils are cinnamon-forest with good drainage. The climate is temperate-continental with cool nights, which help preserve the freshness and aromas of the grapes.

Vinification: The wine is fermented and aged on fine lees in stainless steel vessels. The goal is to preserve the varietal freshness and fruit nuances without oak influence. Vinification is in small batches, with minimal intervention.

Organoleptic characteristics
Color: Pale straw yellow with greenish reflections.
Aroma: Elegant nose with notes of green apple, pear, citrus peel and fresh grassy accents.
Taste: Fresh and firm, with pronounced minerality and a subtle citrus aftertaste. Excellent balance between structure and acidity.

Food pairing: Suitable for fresh salads, fish on a plate, seafood or goat cheese.

Serving temperature: 8°–10°C
Aging potential: Up to 3 years after harvest

Your order will be delivered via courier.
With our own transport in Sofia, we deliver to the front door of the specified block or house address. We do not enter the building due to security reasons.

For orders over 76.69 € / BGN 150, delivery is free of charge.

Deliveries are made only to addresses within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

You can also pick up the ordered products on site from our address: Sofia, Hladilnika district, 13 Filip Kutev Street (see on map).

Delivery time is usually up to five days, and the delivery cost depends on the shipment's weight based on the courier company's rates. Delivery times may vary depending on our agreement with the courier and their schedule, as well as during holiday periods.
