Produced by Mezzacorona – one of the most respected and sustainable wine cooperatives in Northern Italy, located in the heart of the Trentino region, under the majestic Alpine peaks of the Dolomites. Founded in 1904, today Mezzacorona brings together hundreds of family winegrowers who grow their grapes with care and attention to nature. The winery is a symbol of modern Italian winemaking, combining tradition, high-tech processes and sustainable practices.
Varietal composition: 100% Pinot Grigio
Terroir: The vineyards are located at the foot of the Dolomites, in the Adige River Valley, where Alpine and Mediterranean influences meet. The soils are alluvial and calcareous-clayey, rich in minerals, which provide the wine with its characteristic freshness and finesse. The climate is continental, with cool nights and sunny days – ideal for preserving the aromatic potential and balanced acidity of the variety.
Vinification: The grapes are hand-picked at optimum ripeness and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled low temperature to preserve the fruity aromas and freshness. After a short stay on the fine lees (sur lie), the wine is bottled young to fully express its lively, pure and fruity character.
