Produced by Chateau Avli – a family winery located in the village of Glushnik, Sliven region. The name of the winery comes from the medieval town of Avli, known for its agriculture and winemaking. The vineyards were planted in 2006 with French planting material and cover 330 decares on two massifs – Bozalaka and Rupov dol, at the foot of the Sliven mountain. The soils are clay-stony with southern exposure and excellent air drainage.

Terroir: The vineyards are located on clay-stony soils, mixed with sand and various sized stones, including granite and limestone. The climate is moderately continental with an altitude of 227 m, which favors slow ripening and the accumulation of aromatic compounds.
Vinification: The grapes are hand-picked and undergo careful selection. Fermentation takes place in small stainless steel tanks with temperature control. The wine is aged for 6 months on the fine lees with periodic batonage, which gives volume and complexity to the taste.
