Domaine Menard is a family-run winery in the heart of the Côte de Gascony, known for its fresh, aromatic white wines that highlight the typical style of the region – lightness, fruity purity and pronounced freshness.
Grape variety:
Colombard and June Blanc
Terroir:
The vineyards are located in the Côte de Gascony, Southwestern France, on clay-limestone and sandy soils. The region is characterized by oceanic influence, warm days and cool nights, which help preserve the natural acidity and aromas of the grapes.
Vinification:
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, followed by gentle pressing and fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled low temperature. The wine is stored on fine lees for a short period, for additional density and aromatic complexity, without oak aging.
