Terroir - Gavi DOCG zone
The vineyards for this wine are located in the south-eastern part of Piedmont, in the Gavi area, known for:
Soils: limestone-marl with parts of sand, which give minerality and freshness.
Climate: temperate, with cool nights and warm days - ideal for preserving the acidity and aroma of the variety.
Variety: 100% Cortese - an emblematic white variety for Gavi, giving elegant, mineral and fresh wines.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-picked at optimal ripeness. Gentle pressing and fermentation at low temperature in stainless steel vessels are carried out in order to preserve the maximum purity, freshness and fruity character of the variety.
