Long maceration on the skins for 30 days.
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 28 – 30 °C
Aging in French and Slavic large oak barrels called tonneaux (tonneau /plural tonneaux is a specific barrel used in western France, especially in the Bordeaux region, for storing and aging wines) (20% in first-fill barrels and 80% in used barrels) for 6 months and in bottle for 3 months.
Amarnet shows an intense ruby red color with hints of garnet reflections.
On the nose it is dense, with notes of berries and blackberry jam, accompanied by notes of tobacco, coffee and cocoa powder on the finish.
On the palate it is a complex, soft and rounded wine, well balanced and pleasantly persistent.
The finish reveals notes of chocolate and black pepper.
Amaranth pairs perfectly with structured pasta dishes and, thanks to its versatility, complements any type of meat, from white to red.
