Irish Triple Distilled Whiskey Proper No. Twelve is the result of a lot of work, trial and error, until the best taste is found, which does not tolerate compromise. The result is a superb combination of sweet Irish grain with notes of vanilla, honey and toasted wood. MMA fighter and boxer Conor McGregor entered the whiskey ring with his own number 12. The Irish whiskey was produced with the help of former Bushmills distillery manager David Elder. It features malt and grain whiskeys aged in bourbon barrels. The team created nearly 100 blends before deciding on the one in the bottle. The number 12 is not accidental, but is inspired by the name Dublin 12 - the area where McGregor grew up.
