Raki is frequently drunk with water, the addition of which causes it to throw a milky louche - in this form it is commonly refered to as 'aslan sutu', which translates as 'lion's milk'. Sari Zeybek Original, which gets its unique color and aroma from being matured in oak barrels, and does not contain gluten, the Efe Sari Zeybek is allowed to rest and ripen for 4 to 6 months before being bottled.This rakı is characterized by its very mild taste, the easy drinking flow and the wonderfully coordinated anise aroma. The anise taste is in the foreground, but not dominant.
